Scribe Synergy has been transcribing hearings, arbitrations, inquiries and professional meetings for Malaysia's legal sector since 2009. Our transcribers are part of a nationwide network that supports courts, law firms, arbitration centres, government agencies and enterprise clients.
Every professional transcript we deliver has been prepared by a trained person and reviewed before it reaches the client. The work matters, and we take it seriously.
Translations are reviewed and prepared in a format suitable for their intended professional use. Certified translation can also be provided where formal verification is required.
What Transcription Involves
Transcription is the careful conversion of recorded speech into a written record. You listen to audio or video from a hearing, interview or meeting and produce a clean, structured transcript that reflects exactly what was said.
It is quiet, focused work. Good transcribers are patient, accurate and comfortable working independently at their own pace.

How to Apply
Our application process is designed to be simple, fair and completed in your own time. You will be assessed on two short samples, one in English and one in Bahasa Malaysia, before joining a short online training session.

Common Questions
Do I need prior transcription experience?
No. Full training is provided as part of the onboarding process. What matters is careful listening, good language skills and the discipline to work independently.
Where will I be working?
This is a work-from-home role. Once you have completed training and have your equipment ready, you can work from anywhere in Malaysia with a reliable internet connection.
Is this full time or part time?
Both are available. The minimum commitment is around 5 hours a day. Some transcribers work with us as a primary role and others fit it around other responsibilities.
What equipment do I need?
A laptop with Windows 10 or later, headphones and a reliable internet connection. You will also need Microsoft Word.
How are transcribers paid?
Payment is made monthly. Rates depend on volume, turnaround and the type of work assigned, and are confirmed at the point of engagement.
